  • Does hub convert 176/24 to 96/24?

    Just trying to understand...
    Is it correct that the Platin stereo hub can play hires material (such as 176/24) when connected like this:
    176/24 source file from renderer => coax => hub => wireless => A500's
    Do the A500's in this setup really receive 176/24 or does the hub down-sample this to 96/24?

    The WiSA wireless audio specification allows for up to eight (8) channels of uncompressed 24-bit, 96KHz audio

      The reason I asked is that I am playing 24-bit, 176KHz material without any hiccups. So does this mean it is downsampled by the hub?
